Whenever someone asks me about something that is based on understanding the depth of a subject, this verse is read subconsciously in my mind. 

In previous articles, we talked in detail about the importance of Hyrcanian forests and even the importance of the creatures that live in them. However, there is still a question in minds of many of you. How do we get the seedling photo? An important question that has occupied the minds of some also says: Why do not you provide us with photos of seedlings at all? In this article, we are going to talk to you about the reasons for not doing this.

First of all, you still need to know where the seedling planting area is. In a nutshell, planting seedlings in this project, unlike other projects you encounter in Iran, is not limited to the village or even the garden.

By participating in the “Bani Jungle”, you are helping to reforestation. As you know, reforestation is not just the planting of a few seedlings! It means, by planting seedlings and taking care of the area, we help to return all living things, including grass species and wildlife and forest dwellers, even out of it. 

Why do not we take pictures of seedlings? 

Perhaps with these explanations, we can better explain the reason for not providing photos of seedlings or not photographing seedlings! There are different reasons for this. Here are some of them:

Forest’s “what do I wear”?!

Imagine just for a second. it’s your first date with a person you never. The first meeting is the most lasting. What do you wear? Let me help you. In a word, you are wearing the best clothes available to you. You make up yourself. Now Put yourself in seedling’s shoes. A young seedling, which you are its founder is the same as you with similar feelings. Maybe it does not want to look like a soft, thin branch. Maybe it wants to grow up, get its hair done, and then come to see you, Or even wait until the day when you meet and come to see it with love and affection. 

Photography is prohibited

I’m sure, you have been visited a museum at least one time! if you remember, museums and other historical places have special conditions for visitors. One of the things that are emphasized and respected by all is the prohibition of photography. The reason for this is damage to buildings. Consider how many seedlings are planted each day? Multiply this number by one month. Write down the number obtained. The forest is full of vegetation. So for photography, we have to try different angles as well. Multiply the number of angles by that number. How much of the vegetation do you think will be trampled underfoot for this purpose? you can calculate it yourself. “Take only pictures to leave only footprints,” Pro-environmental say. But we try even not to leave footprints in nature and believe this: “Take only memories, leave only footprints.”

We do our best, not to leave the same footprint in nature as much as possible. Pollution of forest areas does not only happen by polluting water or the environment. We can also pollute the environment by producing extra noise and misplaced traffic. Unknowingly, we may end the life of a herbaceous species or even a delicate seedling that has grown its seeds by burying them in the ground. So we do our best not to leave even a trace. The environment is unsafe, do not enter Do you enter the area when you see footprints or hear the sound of animals in the forest? Do you still stay when you smell something dangerous? The answer to all of these questions and any question that threatens our safety and health is “not”. Animals do the same. If for any reason they notice the excessive presence of humans hearing their voices or smelling them in the area where they live and know that we are close to their territory, they leave. Don’t forget, their only place of residence and tranquility is the forest! 

Seedling Challenge

In the first challenge, we intended to provide them with a wooden card along with the GPS point and the seedling ID card. Over time, we noticed that the wood chips from which the wooden cards were produced spread a pest in the area. Therefore, the seedlings were not tagged and we just record the GPS point on the map in the names of individuals. In addition, if you wish, you can see the address by referring to your profile and selecting it on the Google Map to view it.

How do we know that seedlings have been planted?

Reforestation and beyond, ecosystem restoration and wildlife restoration are some of our goals.

We have said all this, but one important thing remains. As you probably know, there are some things you can do to trust the project.

Issuance of identity card

The design team has prepared an identity card for you, considering all the elements that are important for the “Bani Jungle”. You will receive a seedling identification card after completing all the steps of purchasing seedlings. The seedling ID card is digitally uploaded to your profile at the “Bani Jungle” because we did not want to damage the environment by printing it. After downloading the seedling ID card, you can keep it for yourself, give it as a gift to someone, or even have a souvenir as a tribute to someone.

Determine GPS point

Shortly after the seedling identification is issued, a GPS point is considered for the seedling. As you know, GPS points are unique. You can click on the GPS point to see where your seedlings are planted. As I said, GPS points are clickable. You can click on them to connect to Google Map. See your seedlings with other friends.

Indeed, we do not send pictures of saplings for your trust, but we have considered cases for which both you and all the creatures that the forest is actually for are satisfied. You and I do all this so that they feel at ease in their place of residence, the forest. At least, in this case, we all agree that no matter how hard we make their lives for them, they have still been kind to us and their trust has been our share. By trusting each other, we can secure their living environment.
