It is one of the native and special species of Hyrcanian forests, which is named after the German botanist “Parrotia”. Parrotia persica has hardwood and is also called an iron tree, its roots and leaves have medicinal properties. The young leaves of the Parrotia persica tree are reddish-purple and turn dark green in summer, and finally in autumn with more than 15 bright spectra in different colors: bright yellow, orange, burnt orange, bright red, pure red, become dark red and has a special beauty.
